RIDDOR

Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations

The law in Great Britain that says certain workplace accidents, work-related illnesses and dangerous near misses must be reported to the enforcing authority, usually the Health and Safety Executive. Northern Ireland has its own version. On a site the report is normally made by the employer or whoever is in charge, but everyone working there should know it exists and tell that person about any incident straight away.
