Notifiable work

Domestic electrical work in England that must be declared under Part P of the Building Regulations. That covers installing a new circuit, replacing a , and additions in special locations such as bathrooms. A registered installer can self-certify it; anyone else must involve building control, which is slower and costlier than most homeowners expect.
