Silicone sealant

A flexible sealant used in corners and where tiles meet baths, trays and worktops.

Internal corners and joints between different materials move, so they're sealed with a flexible sealant instead of grout. Sanitary silicone resists mould.

Sealant is part of keeping water out, but it doesn't replace tanking behind the tiles.
